AnsweredIf I replace my menu from a spreadsheet, do I lose my recipes?Yes, so plan for it. Add to current menu changes nothing. Receiving moves that ingredient's average cost, and every recipe using it is worked out from that cost, so the dish gets dearer or c AnsweredCan one CHOICE run out while the dish itself stays available?Yes — stock is tracked per option as well as per item, and both are opt-in. Replace retires the old menu and installs the new one; past orders keep showing exactly what was sold at the time. AnsweredWhere can I see everything that moved an ingredient? At the bottom of Menu, then Ingredients & suppliers, under What moved. It lists the last forty changes with the reason against each one, so a sale, a cancel, a delivery, a count and a wastage all read AnsweredCan I temporarily hide a whole category?Yes — deactivate the category and it disappears from the page with all its items, ready to reactivate for the season it returns. That covers dish counts, ingredients, recipes, food cost, suppliers, [purchase orders](/docs/stock-suppliers), stock tak AnsweredIs there a limit on option groups per item?No hard limit that a real menu hits. If an item needs more than three or four groups, consider splitting it into variants — customers choose faster.
